Jesuits on the Moon

I’ve just come across this interesting historical fact: thirty-five of the moon’s craters are named for Jesuits who played important roles in science and learning. We are tempted to ask if this explains a lot, but we’ll leave that aside for the moment. In all seriousness, it is edifying to see these ministers of the Church honored for their contributions to knowledge.
